detail: Saturday's work party is sponsored by the San Diego Peace Corps Assoc., and everyone is invited to come and help. We can use a large number of people for this planting because there's plenty to do hauling 15 gal size trees and soil (heavy work) and packing the soil around the root balls (lighter work) and so.... we need all the help we can get!

detail: Mission Hills Heritage is proud to sponsor a Mission Hills Walking Tour on Saturday, January 21, 2006 to celebrate the 98th anniversary of Mission Hills. This This 90-minute walking tour gives you a chance to explore the authentic architectural features, mature landscaping and hear the fascinating history of one of San Diego County's best-preserved older neighborhoods. Tickets for the walking tour are $15 per person, available on the day of the tour starting at Noon. Tours will depart, rain or shine, every 15 minutes starting at 1 PM with groups of 20 walkers each. No Strollers please - Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
