detail: Tary Arterburn is one of the founders of MESA and has infused the studio with his passion for innovative architecture and a deep-rooted sensitivity to the local ecology and culture in every design solution. This strong sense of environmental responsibility and respect for endemic systems has not only helped define MESA, it has earned Tary prestigious awards for his work on projects. He has led the firm in receiving two national design awards, numerous state awards and receiving consultant of the year from the Dallas AIA in 2003.
