detail:This interdisciplinary conference brings together artists, scientists, technologists, and educators who explore the relationships between folding, art, mathematics, technology, and education. Plenary speakers include: MacArthur “Genius” Award-winning Professor Erik Demaine, MIT. Concurrent sessions (25 minute talks) on each of the following topics: mathematics, science applications, and education. An exhibition of origami models and poster presentations. Opportunity to meet origami artists, scientists, mathematicians, researchers, and educators from around the world! The conference is held through Sunday, September 10th.
