detail: In his 2002 film 'Dwelling', Hiraki Sawa creates a dreamlike universe
inside a bare and featureless apartment. Using crisscrossing toy jumbo
jets, the work follows the dramatic slow and solemn flight patterns of
roaring miniaturized planes. Using grainy black and white footage, Sawa
creates chaotic air traffic that is as unsettling as it is comical. Through
June 19th.

is one of the top creative advertising agencies in the country, with clients
such as Apple Computers, Nissan Motor Corporation, Mars, Playstation,
Shell Chemical Brands, and Sara Lee. Most recently, the agency was named
2004 Agency of the Year by Adweek. As Director of Art Buying, Jigisha
manages a team of art producers responsible for creative and business
process. Working with photographers, illustrators, and many other types
of artists.
